Lauren Daigle is JOY Radio’s 2023 ‘Artist of the Year’!
She had two #1 songs from her self-titled album, with current top song in Toronto “These Are The Days” grabbing #1 on the final regular countdown on December 16th.
The other 2023 #1 hit is also JOY Radio’s ‘Song Of The Year” — “Thank God I Do” — which spent twenty-three weeks on our Joy Top 20 countdown and topped our chart four times.
Lauren also partnered with JOY Radio to help our listeners have a great Christmas. The 31-year old GRAMMY winning artist and Canada’s biggest Christian radio station gave away tickets to her upcoming Toronto concert in March 2024, along with food and Amazon gift cards to our grand-prize winner to help them have a joyful Christmas.

With all her work, Lauren is demonstrating her growth, curiosity, and ambition. “I just love life,” she says. “I see it as such a tapestry, a kaleidoscope, and I’m trying to grab as many facets as I possibly can. And hopefully by the end of my life – when I’ve had 10 or 15 records or whatever – it’ll show the whole picture. That’s my dream.”
JOY Radio listeners have loved Lauren’s music from her debut single. She has more weeks at #1 (30) than any other artist, recently moving ahead of TobyMac who currently sits second all-time (29).

Dan Bremnes was named JOY Radio’s 2023 ‘Canadian Group/Artist Of The Year’, the first time Dan was awarded in this category. His song “Fingerprints” was also our #1 song on the July 1st All-Canadian edition of the Joy Top 20 Countdown.
for KING & COUNTRY were 2023’s ‘Group Of The Year’ with two number one songs and 5 weeks at #1. It’s also the fourth time in the past five years that brothers Joel & Luke Smallbone have been our ‘Group Of The Year’.
